A question from one of our readers: “Very often I feel angry with other people and blame them for my misery, even though I know it’s not their fault. How can I stop this behaviour?”
Read the answer in this blog post.
First of all, we want to thank you for writing to us with such an important topic as many people strugglw with this issue.
Many of us get angry for seemingly no reason, we fly of the handle and literally spew our anger over those around us.
Have you ever stopped and inquired why?
For many of us anger is a cover, a defence for some deeper feeling that we don’t want to admit to, experience or expose to others.
For some people peeling back emotional layers is really easy. But for others of us, who have maybe numbed their emotions for a long time, it may be more difficult.
If you don’t reach an expansive, wholesome state on your first attempt, relax! Society teaches us to suppress our emotions, so your body is simply not used to feeling, and wants to keep a lid on your emotions, all your emotions!
Start with daily short meditations to develop a better connection with your body. Your body already knows and will reveal all your emotions when it’s ready.
You can start with this meditation guided by Brandon. This short and hugely liberating process enables you to get real, become present and drop any ‘armour’ you’re unconsciously carrying.
It’s a great preparation for all Journey processes whether you have anxiety, fear, disappointment in fact any suppressed emotions.
